Scription, backed by leading venture capitalists, is experiencing rapid growth. We specialize in the commercial foodservice market and are seeking a detail-oriented and organized **Invoicing and Payments Specialist** to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Enter, review, and approve incoming claims.
- Communicate with vendors and customers on claim rejections.
- Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable to ensure timely collections.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies with vendors and customers.
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline invoicing and payment processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in accounts receivable and payable or a similar role.
- Experience in creating invoices.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience in the quick-service restaurant industry is a strong asset.
- Experience with Canadian and US tax laws is a strong asset.

**How to Apply**:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Additional pay:
