**Salary**:
$62,212. 00 - $77,536.00 annual starting wage, depending on experience and qualifications as per the BCGEU Faculty Collective Agreement (annual increments up to a maximum salary of $99,968.00). An excellent benefit package is offered, including extended health and dental benefits. Annual vacation is pro-rated and front-loaded, based on 210 hours/FTE, as well as time off paid for the period between Christmas and New Year's Day. Enrolment in the College Pension Plan is mandatory for those in this role, with the standard contributions matched by the employer.

**Description**:
Reporting to the Dean of Continuing Education, in an entrepreneurial environment, the Continuing Education Program Coordinator is responsible for the creation and oversight of a portfolio of non-credit certificate programs and courses to meet the needs of the region, while achieving financial targets and margins. In this role, you will seek out new program opportunities: creating, modifying, and maintaining quality courses, programs, and activities to meet the ever-changing needs of individual learners, business, industry, and the community. The Program Coordinator will conduct ongoing needs assessments to determine the education needs within the region ensuring appropriate program offerings on all NLC campuses.

The CE Program Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, hiring, and supervising qualified instructors to ensure high-quality instruction and that testing standards are met. They will establish individual course budgets and utilize financial information to plan, modify or cancel courses or programs. They will handle multiple responsibilities, solve complex problems, and provide leadership, supervision, and direction within the program area, in alignment with the mission and vision of the College.

** Travel will be required within the geographical area.

**Qualifications**:

- In Order to be considered, you will have: _
- A diploma in Business, Adult Education, or similar field, and/or five or more years of business development experience. Preference will be given to those who hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Previous sales experience, with a demonstrated ability to improve results through creating and developing learning and/or business solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with proposal and/or business plan writing skills.
- Ability to use tact and discretion to deal with or settle complex requests or complaints.
- Budgeting and financial skills, with a proven track record of achieving financial targets.
- Entrepreneurial self-starter attributes; strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
- Administrative or supervisory experience would be an asset.
- Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Current, valid driver's license.
