**Position Details**:

- What You Will Do- Manages technical and property-related projects; Coordinates and supervises the work of contractors.
- Tenders for projects by evaluating proposals from multiple vendors and assisting with the execution of contracts.
- Calculates and compares costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value.
- Plans for future development in line with strategic business objectives.
- Manages and leads change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities.
- Determines projects’ needs and develops management control systems to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Prepares and maintains records on all maintenance activities.
- Monitors, maintains, and performs standard repairs to building electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, cooling systems, electrical, air conditioning and plumbing.
- Monitors and coordinates system repairs and monitors system performance, including security and fire safety.
- Monitors licensed plumbers, electricians, and HVAC vendors as appropriate.
- Maintains, inspects, and arranges for the repairs of the interior and exterior areas around the CCG Corporate buildings
- Executes equipment audits and record taking policies.
- Manages Facilities emergency response to building issues within the parameters of CCG Health & Safety and business continuity practices.
- Ensures compliance with all safety and security protocols.
- Implements quality control procedures to resolve operational issues and minimize overall costs.
- Gains a thorough understanding of building systems to recommend options to improve or effectively meet building requirements in an efficient, cost-effective manner.
- Maintains detailed & accurate records and prepares clear & concise written reports.
- Coordinates with management on the implementation of new building projects.
- Monitors the building automation system for accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitors and maintains emergency alert procedures.
- Looks for opportunities to reduce the environmental impact and improve sustainability.
- Who You Are- Post-secondary education in the field of building system maintenance.
- Project management certification preferred.
- Superior diagnostic, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Enjoys mentoring and supporting co-workers and project teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate diplomatically with all levels within the organization
- Organized with excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
