**What You Will Do**:

- Review maintenance requests including special instructions
- Assess mechanical, electronic and/or electrical issues, and check supplies/inventory
- Trouble shoot equipment to ensure equipment is operating as it should
- Maintain inventory of parts to ensure mínimal downtime
- Perform Lockout
- Load, unload equipment/machinery and supplies (as required)
- Operate material handling equipment as required (i.e., forklift, scissor lift)
- Train maintenance or line personnel on daily preventative maintenance activities
- Replace/repair and test equipment, transmission machinery, device, or thing. Complete and maintain maintenance logs
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Certificates**:

- Forklift certification is an asset
- Fall arrest or working at heights certificate is an asset
- Scissor lift certificate is an asset
- 433A Millwright Certificate is preferred but not required

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
- Qualified and certified in Mechanical Engineering is an asset
- Qualified and certified Millwright, Millwright Apprentice is an asset
- Knowledge of Brake Press and Roll Formers is an asset
- Knowledge of mechanics and machine maintenance

**Education/Experience**:

- One (1) to five (5) years of experience
- Certificate of Qualification for Industrial Mechanic/Millwright - 433A as recognized by the Ontario College of Trades or Millwright Apprentice is preferred but not required
- Experience with metal fabrication equipment is an asset (punch presses, spot welders, etc.)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Metal fabrication: 5 years (preferred)
