Sweet Impressions Bakery is looking for a positive, friendly, and fun individual with amazing leadership and organizational skills to join our team in the position of Barista Lead

**The Role**

The role of a Barista Lead is to supervise all Baristas and manage the storefront while pertaining to amazing and positive customer service. It is the responsibility of our Barista Leads to ensure all Front of House Staff are following proper protocol and are aware of any and all changes/updates to our bakery policies and procedures. The Barista Lead will be responsible for on-the-job training and continuous coaching, inventory management, administrative tasks, updating customer service policies and procedures, collecting and organizing orders - ensuring each order was made correctly and are to our bakery standards.

This is a full time position, ranging from 30-40 hours per week. An open availability is required as scheduling will be dependent on operational needs.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Adhere to our Allergy Awareness Policy to ensure a 100% peanut and tree nut free environment and take all necessary precautions to prevent cross-contamination with allergens present in the bakery
- Following proper food handling and safety procedures
- Assisting customers with a positive attitude in regards to order pickups, placing customer orders, answering the phone, questions in store, and helping customers over the counter
- Understanding and use of our POS, Order Processing System, and Google Workspace
- Ability to demonstrate amazing product knowledge so customers can feel safe and confident with their allergen restrictions
- Training employees, organizing and managing inventory
- Participating in management meetings with the General Manager for Bakery updates
- Ability to quickly problem solve when issues arise to ensure the customer leaves with a smile on their face
- Other duties as assigned

**Who Are You**
- Minimum 1 year of management or related experience
- A tech savvy individual - operating our POS, Order Processing System, and Communications
- The ability to supervise and delegate tasks to others
- A team player Building relationships with all staff to encourage a positive company culture
- The ability to problem solve and act quick on your feet
