We are a proud member of the Co-operative Retailing System, a vast network of 160 retail Co-ops across western Canada. **The Opportunity**: Red River Co-op is recruiting for the position of **Bakery Clerk** **at our **Southdale Food Store** **located at **77 Vermillion Road,** **in** **Winnipeg**. This position reports to the Bakery Manager.** **The **Bakery Clerk** **adds value to our Co-operative by packaging and merchandising baked goods for our customers. Essential responsibilities of the position include the following: - Slice bread, and package all forms of baked goods. - Merchandise "thaw and serve" product. - Perform cleaning and other housekeeping duties to present a neat, clean, fresh, well-merchandised, food safe department and related work areas (sales floor, coolers, freezers, prep area, etc.) - Provide outstanding customer service. We are looking to fill one vacancy for this position. This vacancy requires open availability, 7 days per week, and will receive approximately 20 hours per week. **About You**: To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies: - Excellent interpersonal skills.
