Sweet Impressions is searching for a new team member to join our amazing team in the role of Barista

**The Role**

The role of a Barista is to assist customers at all touchpoints within our Bakery from the moment they step into the bakery to the moment they leave Serving guests, answering questions, making beautiful latte art, and taking orders. Our Baristas encompass our Bakery Core Values of creativity, passion, safety, community, relationships, and happiness The responsibility of our Baristas is to ensure our customers enter and leave with a positive and sweet impression during every experience

Must be available weekdays from 8am - 3pm, 1-3 shifts per week

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Adhere to our Allergy Awareness Policy to ensure a 100% peanut and tree nut free environment and take all necessary precautions to prevent cross-contamination with allergens present in the bakery
- Following proper food handling and safety procedures
- Assisting customers with a positive attitude in regards to order pickups, placing customer orders, answering the phone, questions in store, and helping customers over the counter
- Understanding and use of our POS, Order Processing System, and Google Workspace
- Ability to demonstrate amazing product knowledge so customers can feel safe and confident with their allergen restrictions
- Crafting specialty espresso drinks with exceptional menu knowledge
- Other duties as assigned

**Who Are You?**
- Customer Service or Barista experience is preferred but not required
- You have a high dedication to helping customers
- High attention to detail - ensuring proper procedures to keep customers safe and happy
- A positive attitude We strive for the best customer satisfaction

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 5-15 per week

**Salary**: From $14.15 per hour
