Purchasing Coordinator

Dynacare is currently looking for a **Purchasing Coordinator** to join our team in** Brampton,** Ontario. This is a **Permanent F**ull-Time role working Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm**.

Reporting to Manager, National Procurement & Vendor Management, will be responsible for liaising between internal customers, Supply Chain personnel and vendors. Troubleshoot and resolve internal/external queries. Handle departmental metrics, logs and reporting as assigned. Assist Logistics team with data analytics.

**Responsibilities**:

- Track vendor delivery performance, update Great Plains system, follow up with vendors, communicate changes to requests as necessary;
- Interface with internal departments to provide materials availability updates or receive additional purchasing information;
- Track departmental metrics on a daily/weekly/monthly basis, maintain Excel databases and report trends to department management;
- Suggest corrective action as and when the problem arises and come up with new metrics for the purposes of becoming efficient;
- Manage manual purchase requisition process (logging, data entry, additional approval tracking) daily;
- Stock departmental supplies in the appropriate sections;
- Assist departmental management in organizing meetings with multiple internal and external participants;
- Assist with filing purchase orders, order confirmations, purchase requisitions;
- Assist buyers with all aspects of purchasing process as required;
- Assist Senior Buyers with price agreements and contracts maintenance as required, help entering contracts in Dolphin contract management software;
- Help maintain vendor incident reporting process;
- Perform analytical assignments, data entry for Logistics, Warehousing and Transportation as assigned;
**Must Have**:

- Interact and coordinate activities with supplier’s community as required
- Secondary School education
- 6 months of previous related experience
- Experience in Great Plains system
- Good command of Microsoft Office suite of programs is desirable for success

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and responding to changing priorities and deadlines
