Description:
Xona is launching a network of navigation satellites to enable precision technologies like robotic farming and hands-free driving to globally scale. More and more industries are moving towards automation to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. In order to operate safely these technologies need far higher precision and reliability than GPS can provide, and they need it to be accessible and affordable. Xona’s patented PULSAR network takes all the complexity needed to achieve robust centimeter-level accuracy and moves it to the satellites, unlocking trusted precision guidance for even consumer grade devices, anywhere on Earth.
Key responsibilities will include:
- ** Managing day-to-day operational** **activities,** ensuring smooth functioning of the office and team. You’ll establish a baseline operational tempo and continually re-adjust as you anticipate the needs of our growing team.
- ** Coordinating and executing various administrative tasks**, including procurement, scheduling, and expense tracking. You’ll collaborate with senior engineering, IT, finance & operations colleagues to understand needs and get the job done.
- ** Shaping and owning internal business processes.**You’ll identify areas for improvement across the business (such as billing, tracking, reporting, etc.) and implement new tools & procedures to help us scale.
- ** Acting as the primary point of contact for key strategic initiatives.** You’ll take the lead on critical Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects, serving as the intermediary between company leadership and external stakeholders like vendors, facilities managers and contractors, and taking ownership of requirements, timeline, budget and execution.
**Responsabilités**
- ** Gérer les activités opérationnelles quotidiennes,** en veillant au bon fonctionnement du bureau et de l'équipe. Vous établirez un rythme opérationnel de base et vous l'ajusterez continuellement en anticipant les besoins de notre équipe en pleine croissance.
- ** Coordonner et exécuter diverses tâches administratives**, notamment l'approvisionnement, la planification et le suivi des dépenses. Vous collaborerez avec vos collègues en ingénierie, en TI, en finance et en opérations afin de mieux comprendre leurs besoins en administration.
- ** Créer et maintenir les processus d’affaires internes.**Vous identifierez les domaines à améliorer dans l'ensemble de l'entreprise (tels que la facturation, les suivis, la documentation, etc.) et mettrez en œuvre de nouveaux outils et procédures pour optimiser la croissance de notre entreprise.
- ** Agir en tant que point de contact principal pour les initiatives stratégiques clés.**Vous serez impliqué dans des projets d'investissement critiques, servant comme intermédiaire entre la direction de l'entreprise et les parties prenantes externes, telles que les fournisseurs, les responsables de site et les sous-traitants, et prenant en charge les exigences, le calendrier, le budget et l'exécution.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or equivalent professional background.
- 0-2 years of operational or project management experience. This is an early-career opportunity for an individual eager to take on a level of professional growth exceeding that of typical entry-level positions.
- A low-ego, positive attitude, demonstrated by a willingness to tackle and deliver on tasks of all sizes, big or small.
- Conscientious and professional communication abilities, with the good judgement required to act as a trusted representative of company leadership.
- Fluent in French and English, with the ability to support both local and global partners.
- Baccalauréat en commerce, finance, comptabilité ou expérience professionnelle équivalente.
