Hamilton, Canada FC Landscaping Full time

FC Landscaping Ltd. is a residential and commercial landscape contractor specializing in garden maintenance, lawn care, sod installation, landscape construction and commercial snow removal. FC Landscaping is currently seeking individuals with a positive attitude and strong work ethic to join our landscaping team for the upcoming season and stay on year round to complete winter maintenance as well. Applicants with previous snow plowing experience are preferred. Applicants will only be accepted with a valid driver's permit as this position will be responsible for operating a work vehicle with trailer, and snow plow in winter.

What will you be doing?
- Operate Truck with trailer in the summer, and plow and/or salter in the winter season.
- Perform routine maintenance services on customer properties such as grass cutting, trimming, raking, general clean up, and fertilizing.
- Perform garden care (weeding, edging, cultivating), and plant care (pruning, trimming shrubs & trees)
- Ensuring properties are maintained to the high level of quality that is expected.
- Perform snow removal duties as assigned of plowing, walkway clearing and ice-melting during the winter season

Working Conditions:

- Duties will primarily be outdoors and regularly exposed to varying weather conditions i.e. wet and/or humid conditions, hot and cold temperatures, snow and ice storms.
- Typical working hours from September
- December are 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. **Hours will vary as we are weather dependent**. Occasional weekend work may be required.
- Physical demands include but may not be limited to standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
- During the Winter Season; be actively involved during all snow events. 24/7 On-call position during the winter months, including holidays & weekends
- Have reliable transportation to and from the main yard.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
