The Customs Rater will support Mohawk Global Canada in providing clients with expedited customs brokerage and transportation services. This position requires regular interfacing with clients and trade partners to ensure a high level of performance and compliance in the movement of goods through the supply chain.

**Tasks/Responsibilities**:

- Processing of customs entries including release, acquittal, and invoicing for all modes of transport
- Providing excellent client service to internal and external customers
- Assisting with updating and maintaining client profiles and tariff databases
- Participating in client meetings and business reviews
- Preparing post-entry adjustments for refunds and amends
- Resolving complex shipment issues
- Arranging final mile delivery
- Processing of CLVS entries
- Completing additional duties as assigned

**Desired Experience and Skills**:

- 3+ years of customs brokerage experience
- CCS Designation
- Extensive knowledge of import and customs regulations
- Experience with PGAs (Participating Government Agencies)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and ability to prioritize tasks
