We are seeking a highly motivated **Truck and Trailer Parts Specialist** to work out of our **Mississauga **location on the **Day and Afternoon** shifts. If you are ready for your next challenge, we want to hear from you.
The primary responsibility of **Truck and Trailer Parts Specialist** is parts planning and supply to meet the needs of our internal and external customers. Support to the shop is key in providing parts and supplies to ensure efficiency in repairs and maintenance. You will also work with the parts team to achieve productivity and sales targets. Maintaining a professional image, you will provide excellent customer service, both internally and externally, in person via sales counter, shop counter or telephone.

**Responsibilities**:
- Providing excellent customer service to all GoRight’s customers
- Reviewing all open work orders for shop and mobiles and accurately assign parts
- Inspection of trucks or trailers before coming into the shop or while they are being worked on to identify parts requirements
- Ability to identify parts by visibly seeing them or using parts numbers supplied on defective part
- Updating repair quotes with part information and pricing, providing updates and lead time on parts sourced
- Pulling and staging parts for jobs in the shop to maintain efficiency and ensuring mechanics are supplied with additional parts immediately
- Ability to source parts from various vendors to keep repairs on time and budget
- Maintaining an accurate inventory of parts and supplies, identify discrepancies, resolving any issues
- Picking parts orders for shipping to customers, stock orders for off-site branches and parts transfers, returning unused or extra parts to correct location
- Performing cycle counts
- Communication of work order warranty requirements to technicians and shop supervisor
- Maintaining a professional relationship with parts suppliers to assist in timely delivery, billing and support
- Consulting with Senior Parts Specialist on rush orders
- Processing of purchase orders and invoices
- Ensuring a timely delivery, billing, and support of parts from supplier
- Other work as may be defined
**Qualifications**:
- A Grade 12 education, or combination of education and experience accepted
- Parts Technician with Ontario College of Trades would be an asset
- Two (2) years previous experience working with truck and trailer parts and inventory preferred
- Excellent customer service skills, always maintaining professionalism
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy
- Safe operation of a Forklift
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to health & safety of self and team members
- Good organizational skills to maintain inventory
- Be willing and able to work in a loud environment, indoors and outdoors in all weather extremes and willing to work the occasional weekend as required.
- Computer skills for order entry and record keeping
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
