Service Manager Truck Trailer Division

**THE ORGANIZATION**
Pro Reefer is a Canadian owned and operated company specializing in mobile repair of refrigerated (reefer) trucking units and other services including preventative maintenance, truck services, and bus maintenance.
Founded in 1998, Pro Reefer has grown to employ close to 100 people, expanded its presence to 6 provinces, upheld a sterling reputation as one of the most reliable independent companies in the mobile repair segment, and proudly calls some of Canada’s largest organizations its customers.
With year-after-year success and expansion comes the growth of our management team and the need for a knowledgeable, organized **Service Manager of our Truck Trailer Division in Ontario** to coordinate and ensure Pro Reefer’s processes, operations, and growth initiatives run efficiently and are successful.
**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
Provide leadership, operational initiative, and support to our truck trailer division.
Build and maintain strong customer relations.
Assist with recruitment, training, and coordination.
Conduct regular performance appraisals of mechanics, including efficiency.
Work closely with service and parts departments.
Assist sales team and attend meetings with customers.
Constantly communicate with technicians, parts team, and vendors.
Review stories written by techs for accuracy (ie parts, services, time postings, etc.)
Manage quality assurance, setting quality standard.
Assist with assuring compliance with governmental regulations, safety guidelines, company policies, etc.
Generate reports or other paperwork as requested.
Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
Address customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous, professional manner.

**SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE/SKILLS**
7 plus years experience within the heavy truck/trailer equipment and repair, parts manufacturing, dealer sectors, or other similar industry
Management experience.
Computer and data-entry proficiency.
Customer service experience.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
