**LOCATION**: Vancouver

**POSITION: Commercial Lines Underwriter - Vancouver**

**What you will do**:

- Underwrite and evaluate Commercial Lines risks for new and existing business.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our distribution partners, delivering exceptional customer service experience.
- Maintain quality and profitability of our portfolio and refer all risks outside established authority level.
- Respond to inquiries regarding modifications to policy files within our service level agreement.

**What you will bring**:

- Minimum 3 years of Commercial Lines Underwriting experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to interact in a professional manner to develop long-term relationships with our partners
- Ability to be self-motivated and proactively pursue potential business opportunities.
- Post-secondary education (insurance, business, or related disciplines)

**Compensation**:
Based on qualifications of applicant pay grade may vary from $60,000 - $85,000.
