Overview

We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for helping patients improve their communication and expereince with assessing, diagnoising, planning, and implementing treatment plans. This position offers the opportunity to have flexible hours, while working in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Duties

  • Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for clients
  • Maintaining appropriate and timely documentation, records, and reports
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Adhering to professionalism guidelines (i.e., maintaining appropriate and professional interactions with clients, parents, staff, and other individuals, in home, office & community environments)

Ideal Candidate

  • Comfortable working independently, as well as with a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience working with children and neurodiverse populations
  • Knowledge and experience with assessing and treating speech sound delays, receptive and expressive language delays, social language delays, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective organizational, decision-making, and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Minimal Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Must be registered and maintain good standing with Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)
  • Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Must have a current Police Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check, and a Child Intervention Record Check upon hire

Additional Requirements

  • Experience with FSCD contracts is an asset

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Casual

Pay: $80.00-$110.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 30 per week
