**Junior Pipeline Integrity NDE Technician**
Tilt Inspection is a specialist Pipeline Integrity NDE company based in Sherwood Park, Alberta. We are currently looking for qualified CGSB MT2 technicians to join our team and continue to grow in the Pipeline Integrity NDE industry. Training (CGSB and PCN) is one way Tilt achieves this.

**Position Summary**:
Junior pipeline integrity and NDE technician are responsible for assisting the senior technician to perform integrity inspections

**Primary Duties**
- Inspect and identify areas of interest and evaluate pipeline defects in accordance with applicable codes, standards, client specifications and procedures.
- Understanding of procedures, protocols and defect reporting requirements.
- Select, calibrate and operate equipment used in the non-destructive testing (NDT) of products and materials.
- Documentation of pipeline defects.
- Prepare pipeline integrity reports.
- Correlation of ILI tool data with field-collected data.
- Assist with performing pipeline integrity calculations

**Required Skills**:

- General reporting skills.
- Assist and provide technical support to trainees and peers.
- Professionalism and attention to detail.
- Computer skills, including Word, Excel, and File Sharing.
- Communication skills - verbal and written.

**Required Certifications**:

- Magnetic Particle Inspection (Level II)

**Mandatory Safety Certifications**:

- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- H2S Live
- Confined Space
- First Aid Level C
- WHMIS / GHS
- TDG

**Additional Experience Considered an Asset**:

- Positive Material Identification
- Creaform Laser Tool - Handyscan 3D

**Compulsory**:

- Class 5 driver's licence
- Drivers abstract
- Flexible with start/finish times
- Work out of town
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift a minimum of 25kg

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35.00-$38.00 per hour
