Paving Department - Various Roles

DeFord Contracting Inc. is looking for _experienced and hardworking _**individuals for our Paving division **_or Civil Construction city projects in and around the Greater Edmonton Area.

**Available Employment Opportunities**:

- Experienced Asphalt Roller Operators
- Experienced Screed Operators
- Experienced Skid Steer Operators
- Experienced Finish Asphalt Rake Persons
- Labourers
- Flag Persons
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Road Construction/Paving
- working in **civil construction is considered an asset**:

- Capability of ensuring a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using appropriate tools and equipment for the task
- Ability to work in a team based environment, at a steady pace
- Must be able to perform labour duties when required
- Capacity to perform tasks with mínimal supervision
- Some computer skills needed
- Reliable transportation
- Positive attitude and willing to participate in a team orientated atmosphere.

**Physical Requirements/Working Conditions**:

- Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Frequent exposure to loud noise
- Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions
- Willing to work night shifts
