The Opportunity:
A Life Sciences Practice Functional Technical Lead (LSTL) requires an individual with 5 plus years of technical and domain experience with Enterprise Content Management in the Life Sciences Industry. The LSTL must also be able to consult and communicate with customers at the project level from a technical best practices perspective to lead them through an engagement to deploy one or more modules of the Open Text Documentum Life Sciences Solution Suite. (LSSS)

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Information Technology.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in more than one of the following Enterprise Content

Management Products & Utilities:
oDocumentum Content Server o Documentum D2
oOpen Text Documentum Life Sciences Suite (R&D, SSV, Q&M and/or eTMF) o DFC/DFS/REST Services

Minimum of 8 years of experience in industry standard Programming Languages, Applications, Tools and Operating Systems.

What you will be doing:

- Leading a team of technical architects and consultants
- Leading quality outputs for solution implementation planning, design, configuration, development, testing and overall technical delivery within a projects timeline and in conjunction with the Project Manager
- Technical troubleshooting, with strong analytical skills
- Configuring and developing on various platforms and solutions
- Delivering configurations and customizations for medium to large sized projects
- Managing deliverables and activities to completion for fellow technical team members
- Provide Technical input for RFI’s/RFP’s
- Understanding of life sciences industry regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11, GxP’s, ICH and the like
- Understanding of validation principals such as GAMP 5, FDA, WHO and the like.
- Understanding of Regulatory Mandates from the various regulatory authorities (FDA, EMA, JMHLW, etc.)
- Providing suggested enhancements to the Life Sciences Product Management team based on customer feedback and industry trends and implementation experience
- Helping with the growth of existing client relationships by being a trusted advisor as a technical lead resource

You are great at:

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in more than one of the following Operating Systems and Web Services Tools:
oWindows XP/7/8/10/Server o Unix / Linux
oMac OS o VMware vCenter
- Having your Certifications in any of the following is a plus:
oDocumentum D7 o Documentum D7 Administrator
oDocumentum D7 Server Programming o Documentum D7 Web Application Programming
- Deep understanding of server centric architecture
- Strong team member that excels at both written and verbal forms of communication to varying degrees of audience.
- Independent, confident self-starter able to work with mínimal direct supervision
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Content Management Solutions and associated business processes for the Life Sciences is a plus
- Highly motivated and ethical
- Goal oriented to achieve business objectives
- Able to work in a matrixed team environment
- Able to travel in North America
