Westquip Diesel Sales LTD is seeking an experience Assistant Service Manager for our Acheson, AB location.

Working closely with the service manager and service team, this position requires a person that is capable of completing 'in-shop' diagnostics, repairs and technical training. The applicant must be a licensed heavy duty equipment. This is a 'hands on' position requiring both in shop equipment repairs as well as daily customer service inquires, coordinating shop and field workload, and processing warranty claims.

**Position Responsibilities**:
Daily in-shop equipment repairs will be required.

Provide technical trouble-shooting support for customers.

Complete work orders, reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.

Prepare estimates for repairs.

Day-to-day supervision of staff.

Prepare work schedules and day-to-day supervision of staff.

Answer service calls to meet customer needs and assure that equipment is repaired as required.

Provide warranty support through the guidelines provided by the engine or OEM manufacturer. Provide customers with prompt action in making warranty settlements. Submission of Warranty Claims.

Complete on-line and in-person factory engine service training.

Stay up to date on all engine manufacturer product training requirements and have all the required tools available to service technicians.

Provide training and assistance to staff technicians.

Assist with 'in-shop' equipment diagnosis and repairs.

Work closely with service Dealer network.

Ensure safe work process is executed with each job.

**Skills and Experience Requirements**:
CET or equivalent / Licensed Off-Road Heavy-Duty mechanic

Knowledge of electronically controlled diesel engines, exhaust after-treatment systems and diesel electric power generation.

Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role is preferred.

Ability to perform diagnostics and trouble shoot repairs on various types of diesel powered equipment and machinery; including generators, water pumps, light towers, hydraulic power units, heaters, compaction equipment.

A valid driver's license with clean driver's record

Willing to attend in-house and factory outside training

Ability to use standard desktop laptop and diagnostic software

Own your own tools

Westquip Diesel Sales has been supplying reliable industrial diesel-powered products to customers across Western Canada for over 40 years. Westquip Diesel Sales is authorized distributor for **Isuzu, Yanmar, Hatz and JCB Diesel Engines**. We provide complete sales distribution, parts, service, and warranty support for these industrial products. Successful applicants will receive _certified factory engine product training_.

In addition to representing these excellent product lines, our facility manufactures its own line of custom build generator sets, water pumps, and light towers. We have a dedicated staff of qualified employees providing sales, parts, service & warranty repair, overhauls, and technical expertise to our loyal customers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $106,000.00-$112,000.00 per year
