**Description**

**The HR & Total Rewards Generalist will primarily support the Total Rewards function while also supporting other HR projects and initiatives. Reporting to the Supervisor, Total Rewards, the incumbent will provide day-to-day operational support, engage with business leaders and team members, and provide updates in accordance to active ongoing initiatives
- **Responsibilities**

**_Total Rewards Support (70%)_**
- Support the ongoing processing and preparation of bi-weekly payroll along with benefits, taxation, and deductions are required
- Reconciliation of departmental spend and travel expenses
- Application of corporate policies applied to Total Reward programs
- Act as one of the main points of contact for Total Rewards and HR
- Provide consultation pertaining to inquiries or policy interpretation as required by organizational members.

**_HR Generalist (30%)_**
- Support the HR Team through active engagement of project campaigns, deliverables, and tactical execution.
- Work in conjunction with HR Operations team on any optimization of existing programs or net new releases
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Gather and analyze HR data as required
- Perform additional HR generalist duties as needed and assigned.

**Skills / Knowledge / Experience / Education Required**

**- A completed Bachelor’s Degree or HR Diploma
- 3+ years’ experience supporting payroll and time and attendance entries and process
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude, and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Attentive focus on detail and accuracy
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.
- Advanced understanding of Dayforce payroll system.
