**The Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Total Rewards Analyst to join our Human Resources team. In this newly created role, you will support, participate, and actively aim to continuously improve and derive valuable business insights while actively working towards elevating the Total Rewards Centre of Excellence. You will design and administer base pay and incentive pay programs, complete salary surveys, and will provide periodic back-up support for payroll administration.

We are looking for an HR or Finance professional who has excellent analytical and communication skills, is proactive and diligent, and thrives in a fast paced and innovative environment.

**What you get to do**:

- Provide analytical support, implement total rewards process and policy changes, and support the changes with a robust communication plan.
- Prepare reports with employee data contained in HR systems in response to requests.
- Work closely with the HR Systems & Analytics to ensure data integrity of all total rewards data elements in the HCM systems and the integrated reporting tools.
- Ensure all total rewards documents and resources are always kept up to date.
- Participate in the job evaluation committee as required, contributing to evaluation of new roles and ensures outcomes of evaluation are captured in the evaluation tool and in the job catalogue.
- Administer the North American recognition program, running regular and ad-hoc recognition metrics and reporting for HR and leadership.
- Participate in the coordination of the annual budget, merit review and bonus planning process, including testing for system readiness and data preparation, and maintenance.
- Participate in annual benchmarking of total rewards framework, including submission of compensation data surveys and analysis of annual changes to market compensation.
- Provide support and guidance to HR and leadership on the appropriate use and policy interpretation of total rewards programs.
- Develop and report key metrics designed to predict and measure effective benefits and compensation approaches.
- Proactively propose new ideas to improve current processes.
- Provide back-up payroll administration as required.

**What you bring to the role**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources and/or finance.
- CEBS, CPM, CHRP and/or FCP designation preferred.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced proficiency using Excel.
- Proven organizational, time management and prioritization stills.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now, Time & Attendance UKG Kronos Dimensions ( or another HCM experience with Time & Attendance system) is an asset.
- Financial acumen.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to find consensus and push back as required.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and a sense of urgency.
- Attention to detail is critical but to not get caught up in the detail.
- Willingness to learn the payroll administration and run periodically.
