Upper Village is a busy and growing practice located in Midtown Toronto. We are seeking a dedicated, experienced veterinary Receptionist to join our team. Our individualized and comprehensive approach separates us from the rest, we take great pride in our patient-veterinarian relationships and always put our client’s wellbeing at the core of our work.

We are a modern and clean facility with paperless medical records. One of our top priorities is focused on communication to build and maintain strong relationships with our clients. Our receptionists are a vital part of those relationships - they are the first point of contact and therefore, a highly valued part of our health and client care team.

**As a veterinary receptionist, you will be responsible for**:

- Greeting clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Communicating empathetically, effectively and accurately to maintain excellent customer service
- Relaying information from client to veterinarian and/or other clinic partners
- Maintain front desk & reception area cleanliness
- Reception sales & transactions
- Assist veterinarians or technicians in animal restraint
- Participate in team building that fosters a strong, inclusive & transparent staff team
- Must be able to carry 25lb +

- Have previous customer service and reception experience
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, knowledge of ezyVet a plus
- Possess skills and knowledge in animal restraint

**Schedule**:

- Full time
- Monday - Friday
- Late Morning/Evening Shift (11:30 am-6:30 pm)
- Rotating Saturdays (4-hour shift)
- Holidays observed

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
