We are seeking a part-time Events Coordinator to join our Events team The role will be responsible for aspects of event planning from conception to execution. This includes oversight of the event logistics and other admin duties. The Event Coordinator will report to the Meetings and Events Manager.

You will be responsible for processing incoming Group reservations and work closely with Reservations and the Meetings & Events Manager to ensure that reservations are entered accurately. Group duties will include but are not limited to: Communicating with Meeting Planners, Executive Assistants, Wedding Planners, and Wedding Couples, monitoring group blocks, deposit schedules and rates per contracts; Attend weekly BEO and Group Resume meetings; Provide general back up Administration support to department heads as needed.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, you may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. The Coordinator will be required to work cohesively with other departments as related to duties and liaise with internal and external customers in a highly efficient and guest focused manner. Effective organization and communication skills are required.

This role is part-time being 3 days a week. Saturdays are a compulsory work day.
