**The Opportunity**:
The Dryland Program Leader 1 is responsible for providing direct support and leadership to the Meet Me at the Park program. A specific focus of sport and recreational activities for people of all ages ensuring a safe space, clean facility and excellent communication.
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Demonstrated high level of verbal, written, and listening skills.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Possession of a valid Alberta Driver’s License.
- Commitment to the City’s Cornerstone Values.
- Ability to do minor lifting.
- Ability to work in noisy conditions.
- Ability to work in stressful conditions and deal with conflict situations.
- One year experience in a recreation/leisure environment providing day camp programs
- Intermediate First Aid

**Affiliation**:
Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 417

**Remuneration**:
$23.87 to $25.27 per hour.

**Hours of Work**:
Hours of work as scheduled with no minimum guarantee. Availability required for daytime, evening and weekends.

**Additional Information**:
The term of this position is anticipated to be June until August.
