**The Opportunity**:
The Dryland Program Leader 1 is responsible for leading programs, services, and special events. This position is required to provide supervision and support to dryland staff and participants in the gymnasium, arena, day camps and dryland programs.
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Demonstrated high level of verbal, written, and listening skills.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Possession of a valid Alberta Driver’s License.
- Commitment to the City’s Cornerstone Values.
- Ability to do minor lifting.
- Ability to work in noisy conditions.
- Ability to work in stressful conditions and deal with conflict situations.
- NCCP Competition Stream - trained (formerly NCCP Level 1) or one year experience in a recreation/leisure environment providing program support
- Intermediate First Aid

**Affiliation**:

**Remuneration**:
$26.68 to $28.08 per hour.

**Hours of Work**:
40 hours biweekly, as scheduled. Availability required for weekdays, evenings, weekends, early mornings and potential split shifts as dryland programming and business needs require.
