As the head of the Granary Road Maintenance team, you will be working in many areas throughout the property and leading a dedicated team.
**Maintenance Duties include but are not limited it**:

- Professionally & respectfully leads maintenance team
- Daily care of the Active Learning Park and Farmers Market.
- Ensure daily completion of park inspection prior to park opening
- Sets and manages, daily, weekly, monthly, & annual maintenance of the entire property including park, market, & greenhouses
- Participates in various labour activities and handy work including but not limited to cleaning, materials management, and facilities maintenance.
- Perform minor building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, painting etc. repairs as necessary
- Conduct inspections and facilitate repairs as necessary on, all site mechanical, electrical, and Playground systems and related equipment.
- Operate a variety of equipment (lawn mower, trimmer, hedge pruner, skid steer, truck with a snowplows’, sweeper, blower, etc.)
- Plant trees, shrubs, bulbs, grass, and other plants

**Position Requirements **
- Proactive, responsible, directive - team leader
- Must be friendly, cooperative and enjoy working with the public.
- Experience with full scope of facilities maintenance including, but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, & landscaping.
- Ability to work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
- Physically fit and able to lift up-to 50 lbs and ability to put in the hours needed to get the job done.
- 7 day a week & between 7am & 7pm availability
- Valid Class 5 License required - Class 1 preferred
- Due to Granary Road’s location outside of city limits, your own reliable transportation is

required.
**Position Details**:

- Full-time all year long

The Maintenance Manager will report directly to the General Manager and will work in collaboration with the rest of the Granary Road management team and staff.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 per year

- Calgary, AB T1S 5S5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Facilities maintenance: 3 years (preferred)
