The Nooks Bottle Shop + Snack Bar is a new venture by The Nooks that offers a selection of local wine, cider and beer. Our new bottle shop + snack bar is located with The Nooks flagship store in Port Hope. We are currently seeking a talented Bar Manager / Cocktail Artist to join our team

As the Bar Manager / Cocktail Artist, you will be responsible for creating a unique and memorable experience for our customers by offering them a wide range of handcrafted cocktails.. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar, including managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained. You will also be responsible for training and managing our bartenders, ensuring that they deliver exceptional service and maintain a high level of quality in all of their drinks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and curate a cocktail menu that showcases our products
- Create unique and innovative cocktails that appeal to a wide range of customers
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
- Train and manage bartenders, ensuring that they deliver exceptional service and maintain a high level of quality in all of their drinks
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Keep up-to-date with the latest cocktail trends and techniques
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all customers feel welcome and valued

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Bar Manager / Cocktail Artist or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of spirits, wines, and beers
- Creative flair for mixology and presentation
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Food handlers / Smart Serve Certification
- Bartending certification is a plus

**Salary**: Competitive, commensurate with experience
