**Position**: Human Resources Coordinator
**Type of Employment**: Full-Time, Contract (1 year with a possibility of conversion), Hybrid Remote
**Reporting to**: Human Resources Business Partner Manager
**Direct Reports**: N/A
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Work closely with the HR team on various requests, such as new hires, time off, leave management, status change, compensation change, internal movements, etc., and process relevant forms within HRIS on regular basis.
- Prepare HR Metric reports on a monthly basis.
- Manage, process, and maintain employee data within HRIS and HR folder. Ensure data accuracy.
- Process employment life cycle letters, company directory, and organization wide communications.
- Ensure an amazing onboarding experience for new hires - preparing on-boarding packages, conducting HR orientation, preparing onboarding decks, etc.
- Lead the workplace culture initiatives across the organization, to ensure positive employee engagement, with innovative and interesting ideas.
- Contribute to continuous improvement & best practices to influence human resources strategies.
- Partner with the HR Team, on various projects and day-to-day activities.
- Participates in any other projects that contribute to achievement of corporate goals.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a Human Resources Coordinator role; preferably in a retail environment.
- A degree or diploma in Human Resources Management/Business Management is considered an asset.
- Experience working with HRIS systems/HR Technology (Preferably Dayforce).
- Ability to travel to store locations and head office.
