TheStone Crock Inc is a fast growing operation looking for dedicated career driven individuals to join our amazing team We currently operate several restaurants, a bakery, a modern brand new Butcher & Market, and an quickly expanding Catering department.

Currently, our restaurant is seeking a part-time prep-cook. This is an ideal position for a student looking for a summer job where you will be an integral part of a team, learn new skills, and challenge yourself. We are always looking to promote from within and can offer excellent career paths for individuals seeking a challenging yet rewarding opportunity.

As a prep-cook, you would be cooking and preparing a wide variety of items from scratch and from recipes. While experience is not required, it would be an asset to being considered for this position. You will have to be confident in working in some hazardous conditions. You will be using extremely sharp knives and hot stoves/ovens. Safety and technical training is provided. We follow Ontario labour code and safety legislation to the letter.

Note: While there is public transportation (GRT) to and from St Jacobs, it does not run often, and barely on weekends. To be available for this position, you must have your own reliable transportation, or live locally.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
