Carpentry Foremen

Functions of this role include:

- Lead and supervise a team of carpenters on bridge construction projects
- Coordinate daily tasks and work schedules with the Site Superintendent
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Oversee the construction of forms, falsework, and structural components
- Ensure quality control and compliance with safety and building standards
- Train and mentor junior carpenters and general laborers
- Monitor material usage and ensure efficient job site organization
- Assist with crane rigging and ensure proper hand signal communication
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety protocols on site
- Participate in project planning, problem-solving, and progress reporting

What you Bring:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in carpentry, with at least 1 year in a foreman or leadership role
- Bridge construction experience is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of construction methods, tools, and materials
- Proven ability to lead a crew effectively and maintain high standards
- Commitment to safety with a valid fall protection ticket
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and capable of lifting/moving up to 50lbs
- Reliable, organized, and professional work ethic
