**The Opportunity**

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. Reporting to the Service Manager, the Field Technician will be assigned to critical machinery repair tasks required by our loyal customers.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

As the Field Technician your key responsibilities will include:

- Perform machinery repair work for customers; review and discuss job details with customers
- Actively communicate with the Parts department to ensure required parts are ordered
- Complete work order forms for assigned jobs and secure customer signatures
- Look for additional repair opportunities on retail jobs
- In the event of a safety incident, completes all necessary paperwork
- Follow all warranty processes laid out by the Warranty department
- Keep parts shelf and work area clean at all times, including service truck
- Communicate actively with the Field Dispatcher after every job
- Ensure all paperwork is complete before leaving job sites

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Driver’s license required
- Red Seal Heavy Duty, Commercial truck, Diesel Engine, and Automotive Journeyperson, or Provincial Trade Certification (Canada)
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Previous aerial platform and lift truck experience considered an asset
- Strong computer skills and trouble shooting skills
