Document Control Clerk

Edmonton, Canada Packers Plus Full time

**Primary Role Focus**
To manage the quality document approvals and support the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) departments with respect to the document management systems. This role reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Verify and approve QA documentation for the finished goods
- Liaise with raw material suppliers and machine shop QA personnel
- Liaise directly with Machine shops on the QA documentation
- Generate Non-Conformance Report (NCR) for nonconformance’s on the QA documentation
- Receive raw material into ERP
- Maintain QA database using Maxx Vault
- Maintain paper and electronic filing for Document Control Group (DCG)
- Material Test Reports (MTR) approvals: verification and approval of MTR’s when required
- Ensure compliance with Packers Plus Health and Safety program

**Position Requirements**
Experience and Skills
- Administrative experience
- Beginner to Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe)
- Oil and Gas experience and/or working within a manufacturing or shop environment an asset
- Knowledge of QA documentation and MTR is an asset
- Experience with Navision or similar operating system is an asset

Education and Training
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Administrative diploma or certificate is an asset

Physical and Safety Requirements
- Lifting/carrying up to 25lbs
- Subject to post-incident and reasonable-cause drug & alcohol testing
- Extended periods of sitting at a desk and use of a computer, keyboard and mouse
