Production Plan Operator

**Production Plan Operator - food processing**
**Your Responsibilities will include**:
- Starting up, setting up and stopping equipment
- Prepare raw material for production food ingredient.
- Feed or place items onto equipment for processing
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment that is free of debris. Cleaning production area - Sweep, mop, and remove debris.
- Cleaning, sanitizing equipment and machinery per QA standards and policies.
- Ensure conformance to specifications.
- Pull damaged or non-conforming product off the line.
- Record data.
- Take instructions from supervisors, line leads and Quality Assurance.
- Openly communicates with co-workers to inform them of anything unusual or potentially danger
- Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Follows and complies with all company health and safety rules & Provincial Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
**Requirements**:
- High school Diploma
- Operator auto production line machine experience
- Previous food industries experience (at least 3+ years)
- Able to lift 30kg with some help.
- Strong work ethic, team player, and self-motivated
**We’d like you to have the following skills**:
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Must have good communication skills in English - written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
- Strong sense of teamwork with an aim to achieve and exceed production standards.
- Must be punctual, proactive, and possess excellent work ethics
- Having basic machine maintenance skills will be an asset
- Work independently in a safe and conscientious manner, abiding to standard operating procedure
**Working Conditions**:
- Turning at the waist
- Able to work on foot for long periods of time and performing repetitive work
- Occasionally climbing ladders
- Wear protective clothing, such as coats, hair nets and safety shoes
- Exposure to machinery sounds and loud noise levels
- Ability to push, pull, bend and lift product on a regular basis (typically up to 50lbs)
**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
