Our BC head office location is seeking a well-rounded, full-time **Research Associate** to support our diverse and growing team.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Maintain clear and rigorous experimental records, including laboratory records.
- Participating in the planning and executing complex biological experiments, either independently or in collaboration with teammates following established procedures or guidelines.
- Assist in reagent preparation, maintenance, and quality control.
- Makes detailed observations, maintains records, prepares and analyzes data, summarizes results, and prepares written reports and analysis.
- Writes standard operating procedures and suggests variations and/or modifications to methods.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and operational lab.
- Conducts all activities in accordance with scientific standards, regulations, and established policies and practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree with experience in relevant fields, such as immunology, biotechnology, biochemistry, and molecular biology.
- 2+ years of work experience in a biotechnology lab and 1-2 years of project management experience.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a high paced, fast changing environment.
- Good oral communication, scientific/technical writing skills, and ability to present data at team and intra-departmental meetings.
- Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively as a member of a cross-functional team. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Attention to detail and self-motivation.
- Ability to engage in continuous learning and self-development.

**Preferred**:

- Able to work in a self-directed manner, demonstrate initiative, and are willing to work flexible hours.
- Able to think critically under pressure and is curious about exploring new technologies and developments in the field.
- Bilingual: Mandarin, Chinese
