**The Opportunity**

Based in Rosenort, under the direction of the Safety Manager - AGI Rosenort, the Safety Administrator will assist and support in the development, implementation and maintenance of safety policies, procedures, and the EHS program. The key responsibility is to promote an effective safety culture working with the facility’s management team, members of the health & safety committee and employees on issues such as training, investigating and auditing. You will work closely with all levels of employees to continually improve our safety awareness and performance. Having a hands-on, solution oriented approach and a “customer first” attitude is essential for success in this position.

**The Team**

The role will report directly to the Safety Manager.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
- Conduct safety training and orientations
- Monitor safety compliance
- Inspect workplace for potential hazards
- Investigate accidents and incidents
- Prepare and deliver safety reports
- Enforce safety regulations

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma mandatory, college degree preferred
- Relevant safety administration experience will be an asset
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety practices
- Knowledge of relevant regulations
- Organizational skills
- Time management
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated and driven
- Able to exercise good judgement and make necessary decisions
