Production Manager

**The Opportunity**

The production manager will be responsible for providing overall management, administration and technical direction for the manufacturing team. The role will ensure all safety standards are followed, coordinate scheduling of crews and equipment as well as maintenance repairs.

**The Team**

This role will report to the General Manager.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure all Safety standards are achieved by all employees
- Co-ordination/ scheduling of crews and equipment in order to optimize resources in the manufacturing and operation of the company
- Assist in planning
- Troubleshoot and mitigate unforeseen problems during manufacturing and process to minimize financial/ scheduling impac
- Create an atmosphere of teamwork by communicating and coordinating inter-divisionall
- Assist in developments of budgets, targets, strategies and objectives and work towards the sam
- Assist in the coordination of maintenance service, marketing, logistics and operations
- Seek out and implement best practice
- Manage manufacturing schedule as well as other department/divisions
- Follow AGI’s Code of Business Ethics and related compliance policies
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

**Qualifications**
- High School Diploma
- 3-5 Years of experience working in a manufacturing or agriculture background
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm for challenge and new initiatives
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Innovative, ability to identify and implement new processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the team and project.
