**What is a Community Engagement Volunteer?**

If you are looking for ways to get involved in your community and are passionate about supporting services to individuals and their families living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, join our team of dedicated Community Engagement Volunteers

We are now looking for casual volunteers across our catchment areas of Peterborough, Northumberland,

Kawartha Pine Ridge, Halliburton and Cobourg areas Get involved with agency events, community awareness projects, fundraising opportunities and more

**Our Volunteers can participate in many ways, some of our openings for casual volunteers include the**

**following positions**:

- Canopy Connects Ambassador
- Agency Event Volunteer
- FASD Summer Camp Volunteer (Camp Weeks, July 24 - 28 & July 31 - August 4)
- Bingo Caller, (Casual shift selection available Thursday - Sunday)
- Bingo Customer Service Support (Tap & Play Machines), (Casual shift selection available*Monday-Wednesday)

**Qualifications**:

- No previous education or experience necessary.
- Volunteers will receive all training and support to engage with their identified volunteer position requirements.
- Completion of a Criminal Background Check, including Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS).
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Commitment to maximize resources and improve people’s quality of life.
