What you would do:
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities for our Restaurant & Banquet operations
- Prepare food for service
- Cook menu items in cooperation with fellow team members
- Follow the direction and guidance of the Banquet Sous and Executive Chef
- Clean up your work station and follow company standards with regards to left over food
- Stock inventory
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, with high quality and within the specified time frame
- Training and coaching of Kitchen team
- Assist with menu planning
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with our guests and your fellow team members
What you need:
- A passion for what you do. You truly care about the product you are producing and are proud to serve it to any of our guests
- Creativity and Innovation. We are a Premier Brand and we want to offer a unique experience to those who walk through our doors and choose us for their accommodation needs
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie required.
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Must have, or be willing, to obtain Food Safe certification
