Business Support Services Manager

The Business Support Services Manager oversees administrative functions across the organization. Their primary role is to ensure the success of a high performing team of administrators through coaching and performance management. **Role and Accountability**: - Oversee office operations, supervising and leading administrative staff within the Business Support Services department. - Coordinate and oversee administrative processes and workflows to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and responsibilities. - Serve as a primary point of contact for departmental inquiries, concerns, and support, addressing issues as they arise and providing guidance and direction to staff members. - Collaborate with departmental managers and stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Monitor and maintain departmental budgets, resources, and expenditures in coordination with the Director of Business Support Services. - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across all administrative functions within the department. - Lead by example in implementing cultural changes and initiatives based on EOS principles, Ideal Team Player ideology, and "The Who" methodology, while providing comprehensive administrative support, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering transparent communication among departments. - Collaborate with the Director of Business Support Services to ensure that job descriptions are accurate, up-to-date, and reflective of evolving responsibilities. - Ensure the Business Support Services department is accountable for providing excellent customer service to the rest of the organization and its external partners, including Farm Operations, Processing Operations, Sales, and Marketing. - The Manager will coach, lead and hold the team accountable through Level 10 meetings, one on ones, and performance reviews as outlined in the Performance Management Policy. - Attend meetings and represent the department, embodying company values to set a precedent for others to follow. - Lead by example, fostering teamwork, mutual respect, and continuous improvement throughout all operational activities. - Perform other duties as assigned. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**: - Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives. - Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on prioritizing tasks and managing resources effectively. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build positive relationships. - Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop practical solutions. - Proficiency in administrative processes and procedures, including record-keeping, data management, and document control. **Education and Experience**: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field preferred. - 3-5 years of experience in administrative management or supervisory roles, preferably in a relevant industry such as agriculture or food processing. - Knowledge of administrative processes and procedures related to farm operations, temporary foreign worker programs, housing management, and general operations support. - Experience in budget management, resource allocation, and performance evaluation. - Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards applicable to administrative functions within the organization.
