**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients warmly and assist them throughout their visit.
- Conduct preliminary eye tests and record patient information accurately.
- Manage electronic medical records and ensure data integrity.
- Assist optometrists during examinations and procedures.
- Provide education to patients regarding eye care and optical products.
- Handle front desk duties including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient check-in/check-out processes.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Support retail sales by recommending eyewear options based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality patient care.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in patient care within a medical office or optical setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (experience with Epic is a plus).
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to optometry.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience in retail sales or pediatrics is advantageous but not mandatory.
