A barista is a person who prepares and serves a variety of coffee and other beverages to customers. In addition to making drinks, a barista may be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the coffee shop or cafe and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and macchiatos, according to customer preferences.

Make recommendations to customers based on their preferences and the available menu options.

Operate and maintain espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment.

Ensure the quality and consistency of beverages by following recipes and standard operating procedures.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee shop's dining area and restrooms.

Receive and process payment for orders using a point-of-sale system.

Stock and maintain inventory of supplies, including coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients.

Follow health and safety regulations and guidelines, including those related to food handling, cleanliness, and sanitation.

In addition to these duties, a barista may also be responsible for opening or closing the coffee shop, handling cash and credit card transactions, and training new staff members. Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment are essential qualities for success as a barista.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
