We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your passion for coffee and commitment to exceptional service will help enhance the overall experience for our guests.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer orders and handle cash transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.

**Skills**
- Experience in the food industry is preferred, with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and practices related to food handling.
- Ability to operate POS systems efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- A friendly demeanor with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
