- In this key role, you will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
- Academic Relationships
- Establish contacts with Universities and Community Colleges in the cities where we operate.
- Develop and deliver presentations marketing Harry Rosen as a career destination.
- Identify, develop and cultivate relationships with key Academic contacts.
- Internship Recruitment Program
- Manage all Intern recruitment for all Stores and Office, working in an agile environment.
- Build a pipeline of students and focus on talent with long-term and permanent potential.
- Internship Strategy
- Foster Harry Rosen ‘experts’ for presentations or to appear as panelists.
- Identify opportunities to seek out students and graduates with language skills important to our markets.
- Identify opportunities to build a strong network of students (bi-lingual) in Montreal/Laval.
- Position Harry Rosen as a career destination for graduates with Career Counsellors, Instructors and students.
- Identify positions with skill gaps and work with institutions to develop a program that would train students to fill these roles.
- Marketing and Social Media
- Create a Student Career Page LI or Social Media presence to market careers and Harry Rosen as an employer of choice.
- Support recruitment marketing efforts in collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Build strong recruitment ads consistent with our Brand image, designed to attract the best talent.
- A minimum of 3-5 years retail recruitment experience
- Strong administration & knowledge working with a robust ATS system, with a strong preference for Workday experience
- Proven recruitment experience required/ Post-secondary graduate preferred
- Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and handle high volumes of resumes, requests, and inbound calls
- Demonstrated intuitive interviewing skills using Behaviour Description Techniques
- Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills with comfort to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Strategic and forward thinker
- Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential issues in a sensitive, efficient and professional manner.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- 2nd language an asset (mandarin or French)
