**Autoworks Tire & Wheel Distributors **is a wholesale custom rim and tire distributor, with a warehouse based in West Edmonton. We import our brands and distribute them both locally and nationally.
We a currently looking to strengthen our team with a motivated Inventory specialist/coordinator.
**This position will be based on the following activities as well as be responsible for the overall daily challenges that arise beyond this point.**
- Build Purchase orders within our WMS
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies and procedures to optimize inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, plan inventory replenishment, and manage order fulfillment processes
- Utilize supply chain management principles to optimize inventory flow and minimize carrying costs
- Conduct data mining and analysis to identify discrepancies, root causes, and areas for process improvement
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure inventory accuracy, turnover, and customer satisfaction
- Use data visualization tools to create reports and dashboards that provide insights into inventory performance
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (primarily EXCEL)
- Valid driver's license as they may need to commute between our locations within the city
- Proven experience in inventory management or related roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Proficiency in using inventory management software/systems (e.g., AS400)
- Knowledge of data mining techniques and tools for analyzing large datasets
- Understanding of supply chain principles and best practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with our other established teams
- Strong negotiation skills for working with suppliers and vendors
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions

**Salary**: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.00 per week
