**Position Information**:

- To provide reception, clerical functions, typing functions for Diagnostic Imaging/Cardio Respiratory Registration
- Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent
- Formal training as a Medical Office Assistant or equivalent course or experience is preferred
- Completion of approved medical terminology course
- Experience in Diagnostic Imaging is preferred
- Preference given to experience with ICMS (OBSP)
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with Physicians, patients and visitors with high regard to public relations
- Excellent keyboarding and computer skills are essential, with a minimum typing speed of 45 w.p.m.
- CERNER, RADNET and Scheduling experience would be an asset
- Ability to work in a high productivity team environment as well as independently
- Ability to multi task with a strong attention to detail
- Commitment to Patient Care and Safety
- Proven problem solving skills and organizational skills are essential
- Ability to handle confidential information with tact and diplomacy
