**Job Overview**

As a Content Creator & Marketing Coordinator within our Marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling content and supporting various marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and drive engagement. This position offers a unique blend of content creation responsibilities and broader marketing coordination tasks, providing an opportunity to showcase creativity while contributing to the overall success of our marketing efforts.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**Content Creation**:

- Develop engaging blog posts, social media content, and newsletters that resonate with our target audience and align with our brand voice and messaging.
- Research industry trends and topics to generate creative content ideas that drive traffic and engagement across digital platforms.
- Collaborate with internal team to gather content ideas and source relevant information for content creation.
- Ensure all content is optimized for SEO and adheres to best practices for online visibility and audience engagement.

**Marketing Coordination**:

- Provide support to the marketing team members in executing marketing campaigns and projects from conception to completion.
- Assist with event planning and coordination, including logistics, vendor management, and onsite support as needed.
- Conduct outreach to identify and pursue marketing opportunities, such as partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising placements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing activities with overall business objectives and goals.
- Assist with tracking and analyzing marketing metrics and campaign performance to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience in content creation, copywriting, and social media management.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive content.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for content optimization.
- Proficiency in multimedia skills, including video production, photography, and graphic design.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
- Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Rideau, ON K0A 2T0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
