Aleading provider of transportation and logistics services based in the Concord area is currently seeking a full time qualified Rating Supervisor.
- **ABOUT THE ROLE**:_

The Rating Supervisor is a critical role within the Rating Department. This high-energy and self-motivated individual will be instrumental in providing thorough direction, has the ability to follow up, and identifies areas of improvement while working in developing a strong team.

This individual must be a self-starter with strong personal skills, coupled with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. The Rating Supervisor must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build a working rapport within all departments in the Organization.**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

The successful individual will be responsible for:

- Leading a Rating / Costing Team to ensure KPIs are met
- Managing daily invoicing progress
- Conducts pricing analysis and makes recommendations based on industry standards, strategies, business trends, gross margin % and rate growth targets, exchange rate fluctuations and competitive landscape.
- exposure, identify cost reduction opportunities and areas of process improvement.
- Ability to develop efficient work procedures and to effectively present information both orally and in writing.

- Ability to provide consistent, quality customer service.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- **WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED**:_
- HS Diploma; Experience in Transportation; two + years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of training and experience working.
- Knowledge of transportation methods, principles, and procedures.

Ability to collect data, analyze results, and draw valid conclusions
- Strong rating / costing background
- Knowledge of distribution operations (i.e., shipping, receiving, flow patterns, freight).
- Ability to use current word processing and spreadsheet programs (Word, Excel).

Pay Rate: $30.00hr to start

Schedule: Monday -Friday flexible to 8:30am-5:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $60,000.00 per year
