We are seeking a **Tooling Lead Hand** to join our team In this role you will be providing guidance and direction to Toolmakers.

We are located at **8271 Keele Street, Concord, Ontario**

**Shift Available**:
**_Night Shift _**(10:45pm to 7:15am) *Shift premium will be provided for night shift

**Reporting to**: Tooling Supervisor/Tooling Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain excellent employee working relations
- Assist Tooling Supervisor, by ensuring that tool room employees meet on time delivery of parts, as per customer requirements
- Ensure the safety of all employees and adherence to all requirements under the Occupational Health and Safety guidelines
- Provide accurate instructions to staff to assist them in continually improving their job performance
- Report to the Tooling Manager or designate all disciplinary actions that may be required for individuals that fail to adhere to the employee standards set out by Clover Tool Manufacturing Limited
- Support Tooling Manager by assisting in annual employee evaluations
- Ensure that equipment and tool room is kept clean and utilized properly and that deficiencies are reported to the proper department

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- Must be able to read, write legibly, speak and understand English and to document stipulated records as instructed.
- Valid Toolmaker Certificate (is an Asset)
- Minimum 10 years trade experience working as a tool and die maker
- Post-Secondary Training in Supervision and Management Skill (is an asset)
- Broad experience in various types of tooling
- Strong leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills and strategic planning capabilities
- Strong knowledge of GD&T
