Parry Sound, Canada Log Cabin Inn Full time

**Job Title**: Cook

**End Date**: May end (with possible extension based on performance)

**Work Schedule**:

- **Days**: Wednesday to Sunday (5 days a week)
- **Hours**: 6 to 8 hours daily, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

**Compensation**: Hourly wage (to be determined based on experience) plus tips.

**Responsibilities**:

- Execute opening and closing routines.
- Prepare ingredients, including stocks, sauces, light butchering, and seasoning.
- Operate on the line by cooking steaks on the grill, finishing items in a convection oven, preparing sauces in pans, and plating dishes.
- Clean dishes, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure a high level of organization and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.

**Qualifications**:

- Possess basic knife skills and butchering knowledge.
- Have at least one years of experience cooking a variety of proteins, such as steaks, chicken, fish, and pork.
- Understand the basics of sauces and stocks.
- Be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Prioritize cleanliness, attention to detail, and organization.
- Exhibit a positive, motivated, and supportive attitude.
