**OVERVIEW**

As a Production Assistant you will work with the operations team in the production and filling of small batch, all natural, premium skincare products in our stunning Obakki studio. Activities will include filling, pouring, packaging and labeling products. In addition, you will be trained to support mixing and production of certain formulations. Strong attention to detail, organization and communications skills are essential. We anticipate approximately 40 hours on average per month with the potential to scale with the business needs. This role reports into the Product Operations Manager with oversight from the Founder.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist in producing premium Obakki skincare products
- Perform dexterous tasks including but not limited to: filling, pouring, and mixing product accurately (either manually or with use of specific machinery)
- Pack product and correctly label packages
- Mix product formulations to exact specifications
- Keep up with production demands and productivity targets
- Adhere to company and departmental policies and best practices for quality, cleanliness and health and safety
- Assist with raw materials inventory management, notifying manager when inventory levels are low
- Carry out general housekeeping and equipment cleaning duties as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Detail oriented and able to follow instructions with precision
- Able to plan, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks
- Confident with basic mathematics, ability to count, including addition and subtraction
- Excellent problem solving, communication and organizational skills
- Open and adaptable to daily feedback on performance
- Reliable, consistent attendance, punctual and dependable
- Comfortable providing and receiving feedback
- Commitment to abide by and oversee our quality and good manufacturing practices
- Commitment to abide by and oversee health & safety regulations
- Flexible schedule to support increased hours during busy periods, based on the needs of the business
- Experience with soapmaking and skincare production is an asset

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 12 per week
